Screening is the first step for anyone who is seeking drug and alcohol treatment or evaluation through Drug and Alcohol Services. The public is welcome to walk in and request services. We offer treatment for voluntary as well as mandated clients. After completing a screening to determine if treatment is medically necessary, a full assessment for placement in treatment is scheduled and a plan for treatment is developed between the individual seeking help and the counselor.

Fatal drug overdoses have surged in recent years, driven by the explosion of a synthetic opioid known as fentanyl. What makes fentanyl so dangerous is its potency — and the fact that many of its victims have no idea they’re even taking fentanyl. 

Drug overdoses are a leading cause of unintentional death in the United States. The major force behind this epidemic is prescription and non-prescription opioid drugs. All ages and communities everywhere are affected by opioid addiction.
